From care work to a little dream of my own.
Hi, I'm Katie — the face behind Klean with Katie. I'm 23, and before this I worked in care from the age of 18. Caring for people taught me so much about hard work, patience and taking pride in helping others.
In March 2026 I took a leap and left my job with no backup plan. My mum has run her own cleaning business for years, and while helping her out she noticed I'd always do the 'little extras' — chopping pillows, perfect hoover lines, the tiny details most people never notice. One day she said those words to me — and that same night I created my business name, designed my logo and ordered my pink scrubs.
Within my very first week I had an Airbnb client, three regular customers and multiple deep cleans booked in — and I honestly haven't stopped chasing this dream since. I'll admit, I'm not the fastest cleaner in the world, but I take so much pride in my work, and I truly believe that's what creates the best results.
I'm so grateful for everyone who has supported me, shared my posts, booked with me or recommended me. This is only the beginning for Klean with Katie.
